According to Oher, the Tuohys leveraged a conservatorship to gain financial advantages but never legally adopted him.
In contrast, the Tuohys contend that Michael Oher attempted to extort $15 million from them. They vehemently deny his claims, accusing him of falsehoods.
Amid the revived discussions about “The Blind Side,” some are calling for Sandra Bullock to relinquish her Academy Award.
Quinton Aaron, who portrayed Michael Oher in the film, firmly opposes such demands.
In a recent interview with Fox News, Quinton Aaron voiced his unwavering support for Sandra Bullock.
“There’s nothing that implicates her in this situation. She was an actress who was hired to do a job, and she excelled at it, earning her recognition. Why should she be stripped of that recognition due to current events, 14 years later?”
Aaron pointed out that Bullock is already grappling with personal hardships, such as the recent loss of her longtime partner, Bryan Randall, who passed away on August 5 at the age of 57 from ALS.
He called upon people to demonstrate empathy and support for her during this challenging period.
